A set of 4 ceramic plates made by Joseph Delphia and fired in his cross draft wood kiln. This set was stacked together in the firing, giving all four plates a very similar finish, a true set.
Each plate is the perfect size for a sandwich or snacking on the go. The thumb hole makes it easy to hold, making them great for appetizers. Hand plates are hand formed from slabs using high temperature stoneware clay. The surface is glazed during the firing itself as ash and vapor are drawn through the kiln and melt to form a natural glaze and unique surface effect.
All plates are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
